Angels serve as mediators between God and humanity. They come to earth to accomplish the Lord's will, to deliver a message, or to protect and deliver His people. Even though the spirit realm is invisible to the natural eye, it is just as real. As Jesus explained in John 1:51, "Truly, truly, I tell you, as heaven opens, you will see angels descending and ascending on the Son of Man."
